Patricia Okau is the Director of Forecasting and Climate Risk Scientist Climarys .she is recognized as a Climate Scientist and Meteorologist with a strong commitment to climate resilience, disaster risk reduction, and sustainable development. With an MSc in Meteorology from the University of Nairobi, she brings advanced expertise in flood risk modelling, early warning systems, anticipatory action planning, and climate adaptation strategies. Patricia has led cross-border projects, developed early action protocols, and transformed complex climate and geospatial data into actionable insights that help governments, NGOs, and communities protect lives and livelihoods. Fluent in English, Swahili, and French, she combines technical excellence with strategic leadership to drive measurable climate impact across Africa.
